Donations and Memorials
Ever since the Labor Education Foundation was formed, people have donated materials for the collection. In some cases, the donations were made by people who liked knowing that what they gave made a difference. In many other cases, the donation was made in memory of someone. For others, knowing that someone in the
future would open a book and see their name means a lot.
There are several things you need to know if you are thinking about donating materials or making a monetary donation toward the purchase of materials.
- All books, videos or audio materials become permanent in the collection.
- The Foundation reserves the right to refuse any materials that it believes are not appropriate.
- Materials placed in the collections is not returnable.
- Unless instructed otherwise, each donated or memorialized book will include the donator's name in side the cover.
- All monies donated for materials goes toward the purchase of materials only. There are no handling fees. The Foundation does not use any funds donated to pay wages. (Bylaws)
There are several ways you can help the Foundation
